Ardell Banks, Wide Receiver, Kent State

Ardell Banks and the Golden Flashes of Kent State picked up their first FBS win in 1,050 days. They routed UMass 42-6– Ardell Banks put the icing on the cake for the Flashes with a 34-yard touchdown grab (the first in his collegiate career) late in the 3rd quarter.

Adonis Marshall, Defensive Back, Mercyhurst

Adonis Marshall led Mercyhurst in tackles on Saturday with 7. The Lakers got a win over Wagner— Marshall also forced and recovered a fumble in the 19-7 victory.

Mike Wright Jr., Defensive Lineman, Youngstown State

Mike Wright recorded his first collegiate tackle versus North Dakota.

Stephen Hogan, Tight End, Central State

Stephen Hogan caught his second touchdown of the season last Saturday versus Morehead. He had 17 yards receiving on a pair of catches.

DaOne Owens, Quarterback, Slippery Rock

DaOne Owens and Slippery Rock bounced back this week with a 49-7 win over Seton Hill. Owens went 8-17 in the air for 131 yards and a touchdown. He had a career-best day on the ground, rushing for 79 yards on 9 rushes (8.8 per carry) and 3 touchdowns. Owens accounted for 28 of the Rock’s 49 points.

Zack Liebler, Defensive Back, Mount Union

Zack Liebler had his best day of the season, tying his season high in tackles (4) as well as his season high in pass breakups (2) versus Wilmington.
