Quarterback Manny Patterson was high in the record book for pass efficiency in Week 1 versus Glenville– he once again successfully led the Tiger offense with few mistakes and several big plays versus GlenOak. Patterson was 16-21 on pass attempts, gaining 200 yards in the air and tossing 4 touchdown passes. He was not sacked once in the ballgame and did not commit any turnovers. For his smooth play and excellent control in the backfield and in the air, Manny Patterson is this week’s offensive spotlight player.

Linebacker DeVaughn “Veech” Williams may be just a sophomore, but he does not play like one. In his second start of the season (and his career) Williams recorded 6 tackles (2nd on the team), 1/2 sack, and 1/2 tackle-for-loss. He had a similar stat line versus Glenville in Week 1. For his strong play at an early point in his career, DeVaughn Williams is this week’s defensive spotlight player.
